
On homogeneous granite grounds, the highest of the Beaujolais vintages - between 250 and 450m of altitude - give very aromatic, vigorous but velvety wines with a very ripe strawberry note.
Chiroubles is considered as the most early product and the most female of the beaujolais wine.
The “Côte de Brouilly” is the only one of the 10 vintages to benefit from the 4 cardinal points.
On volcanic rock - the famous “the blue stone” - the white juice black gamay produces fond of delicacies and merry wines, with a beautiful ruby, sharp and attractive dress.

In Julienas there are 2 types of grounds :
In the west, thin and arid granitic grounds infiltrated of manganese and porphyries.
In the east, formations of the secondary era, alluvia old, deeper and more argillaceous grounds.
On our ground located on the commune of Jullié, we produce a beautiful minerality wine, farm and solid with the raspberry notes. A wine suited to ageing.

In 1924, the Mâcon court, charged to regulate the counterfeits litigations, had defined the geographical limits of the vintage. This had defined the birth of name, more than 10 years before the A.O.C law. (September 11, 1936).
On friable pink granitic grounds, infiltrated here and there of manganese seams, the black gamay produced fine wines. There have a beautiful ruby dress with pure violet and faded pinks notes.
Fruity wines in their youths they moderate with the time.
